A couple years ago I remember seeing this video on youtube, and my mind was blown.
I couldn't wait for features like that in Photoshop.
With Photoshop CS4 this feature became a reality, and everyone instantly became better at Photoshoping things.
Now Adobe is giving us a preview of a new feature called "Content Aware Fill" that will hopefully appear in CS5.
With this feature in my tool belt, I (as well as many others) will instantly become professional Photoshoppers.

Nanosaur
I don't know if anyone still remembers this game from way back from the original iMac G3, but I do and its awesome.
Including this game is probably the best idea Apple has had in the last 12 years.
Just look at it, a dinosaur with a gun and jetpack.
It turns out this game is still $14.95, but there is a demo on the site which, as to my knowledge is the full game (except cheats). This is no big deal, as you can simply hop on a pterodactyl and when you get high enough everything gets maxed.
