My Linux
I use Linux because it is fun and lets me learn new things every day. I can spend hours playing, tweaking, reading and customizing and still know so little and have so much left to do.
Arch Linux is currently my distribution of choice. If you haven't heard of it I strongly suggest you take a look. It gives you full control, and the option to compile your own packages or use pre-compiled versions. This is great cause I don't want to compile every single package *cough* Gentoo *cough*.
On my desktop I use Openbox as a stand alone window manager. It is light, fast, very customizable, and I have been nothing but impressed with it.
On my laptop I use a tiling window manager called DWM. Although it is supposed to be for "elitists" I was able to figure it out, and after doing so I have discovered its awesomeness. I can do everything with hotkeys. My hands never have to leave the keyboard, and the annoying touchpad is rarely used. With the help of the Firefox extension Vimperator, I don't even need a mouse to browse the internet.
