Linux stole my heart several years ago and hasn't let go.
People often ask me why I run Linux, and most of the time I throw around phrases like "more secure", "customizable" and "faster".
The truth is that these are not reasons why I run Linux, just nice side effects.
The real reason is fun.
I can spend hours playing, tweaking, reading and customizing and still know so little and have so much left to do.
Arch Linux is currently my distro of choice.
If you haven't heard of it I strongly suggest you take a look.
It gives you full control, and the option to compile your own packages or use precompiled versions.
This is great cause I don't want to compile every single package *cough* Gentoo *cough*.
As stated previously I run
Arch Linux on both of my computers.
On my desktop I use
Openbox as a stand alone window manager.
It is light, fast, very customizable, and I have been nothing but impressed with it.

On my laptop I use a tiling window manager called
DWM.
Although it is supposed to be for "elitists" I was able to figure it out, and after doing so I have discovered its awesomeness.
I can do everything with hotkeys.
My hands never have to leave the keyboard, and the annoying touchpad is rarely used.
With the help of the Firefox extension
Vimperator, I don't even need a mouse to browse the internet.
